I am hoping as the posts to this website and information collected and stored in these pages grow it becomes an educational resource for people of the Sullivan West School district.
It would seem the very
unpleasant ramifications for many of the residents of the newly formed Sullivan West
school district are little-known. My hope is the stories we collect and post in
these pages, will form a more complete picture for the residents of the Sullivan
West school district and prompt them to remedial action.
No one can make good decisions without the facts.
No one can understand what's happening in this school district without
hearing from some of the people who have been affected by the changes in this
school district due to the merger and closing of the Narrowsburg and Delaware
Valley schools.
There
have been many small instances of half-truths and changes in procedure, which
would lead to false understandings. In an effort to confront the suspicions surrounding the merger and
subsequent closing of the Delaware and Narrowsburg schools, address the possibly
disastrous course we may be following, as Sullivan West School
District as well as unacceptable conditions that some of our merge partners feel
they must put up with , I ask anyone who has a story good or bad they attribute to the merger and/or the closing of the Narrowsburg or
Delaware Valley school to please post their experiences here.
