Stained Glass
These glass creations incorporate, stained
glass, Zinc came, Lead came and foil plus kiln formed glass panels fused
and slumped as well as sand blasting techniques like light etch and deep
carving. Designs often include cutouts and puzzled in pieces which
require split came, or thick glass requiring grinding and brass
reinforcement rods used in none conventional ways.

Kiln formed clear glass with enameled glass flower
petals.

The Dove is for sale

The Dove
This glass creation incorporates,
stained glass, Zinc and Lead came plus kiln fused glass panels
symbolizing Taurus and Leo. In the center, deep carved in 3/8"
clear glass is a Lily signifying the Trinity. This designs also includes
split came around the moon on the bottom. The sun at the top suggests
the dove an eternal symbol of peace, set in a sky with great depths
formed by the layers of color and varying thickness in this
glass. This panel is cemented thus weatherproof.

Indian Stained Glass Window
43" by 43"
Stained glass and glass etching
in the face and feathers and eagles eye framed in strong zinc came free
us from the need to use reinforcement rod .
Note the eagles beak and wolf head are puzzled into the
surrounding glass.
This custom project designed and created with the client, now floods
their large kitchen dinning aria with ever changing lights.

Commissioned mural

This mural is a stylized version of the
view. As the last condo in the complex the owners
put their dinning area by this four casement window. New condo
units out side this window and the need for privacy led to this
mural of the old view. The mural panels are mounted inside the thermal
glass in the casement, in this way the windows still opened and closed
and the screens were not interfered with, this saved the dinning aria
and the cross ventilation. |

This was a great way to dress up the
steel door to this condo and tie it in to the expansive feel the windows
in the dinning area imparted to the living space. These panels are
cemented thus weatherproof. |

This is zinc came with 3/8"x 1/8"
brass around the 3/8"carved glass center. It became the center of a
partial wall dividing kitchen and dinning room. The brass corner pieces
high light the center panel and blend well with the brass hardware used
though out the kitchen and home furnishings.

This panel made to fit the slightly
irregular shape of an opening above a kitchen door to the out side.
Facing south this panel in sun lit most of the day. The couple who commissioned
this say it
is one of the high lights of their Victorian kitchen. |
